QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Grade 12
Fit and Proper
RE5/1 Regulatory Exam
NQF5 industry specific qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 3 year’s experience within the short-term brokerage environment
Minimum 3 year’s experience in a sales environment
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Identify and make contact with prospective corporate and commercial clients
Create and execute sales plan according to agreed Targets
Provide after-sales service to ensure new business retention
Build institutionalised relationships with key clients
Write quality new business aligned to sales/marketing plan
Cross-selling within existing client base
Identify and build relationships with key partners
Ensure SLA’s are signed timeously
Attention to detail
Ensure data integrity on all systems
General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Sound knowledge of the brokerage environment
Sound knowledge of the Short-term Insurance environment
Sound knowledge and Technical Business acumen within the Short-term Insurance environment
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent knowledge of basic CRM procedures
Computer literate with excellent understanding of Microsoft Suite
Excellent presentation skills (Virtual and in person)
