KEY OUTPUTS

• Ensuring all billing quality evaluations are regularly performed and conduct regular discussions with the team
• Liaise with customer service agent where there are billing discrepancies
• Accurate capture and recon of fund premiums
• Handle escalated calls and queries
• Contribute to customer service by assisting billing specialists to solve or escalate customer queries.
• Effectively manage a team of billing specialists
• Effective management of outbound productivity within team
• Responsible for the total performance management of the team
• Set daily, weekly and monthly targets for the team
• Present monthly report to management
• Create a positive working environment that enables billing specialists to be motivated to perform at required level of service.
• Ensure that all relevant administrative processes are correct
• Identify real-time trends and escalate to the relevant role players

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 5-years experience in a similar role
• Experience in healthcare, retirement funds and group risk
• FAIS accredited / RE 5
• Industry relevant qualification (NQF 5)
